2010 DC17 including custom board cover. This is a very fast race board in all conditions including flat water. The ultimate for downwind racing, this board is extremely light and fast.

Custom build and Australian made. This is one of the best 17ft open ocean racing boards made in Australia by renowned shaper Dale Chapman of the Gold Coast.

Full carbon, rudder on left side, chimed edges, double concave bottom, square tail, beautifully shaped. 27 inches wide and approx 13kg's in weight. An additional FCS mount plug has been built into front of board for optional "Gopro" camera mounting.

The rudder system makes for easy paddling in side chop, tide and wind and is designed for easy manoeuvring in the ocean to catch and link runs. You slide it from side to side between your big toe and second toe. When you step off the rudder to move down the board on a run it swings back to neutral position making the rudder straight.

Board cover is silver and padded with huge zip that open the cover right up. It has been designed especially for this board.
