Join the coaches and team riders from Slingshot and Mystic Australia in helping you progress your freestyle riding. Whether you are looking to learn the latest technical unhooked tricks or just want to learn better kite control for hooked in based riding, the SLINGSHOT sponsored clinic series is the most progressive based instructional platform in existence.
Headed up by renowned coach and team rider Chris Wardell, joined by SLINGSHOT International super star Andy Yates and SLINGSHOT's very own Dave Sorrensen you are sure to progress. Coaches will focus on your current level and strip away bad habits whilst all the time working on building a better riding platform to SLINGSHOT your riding to the next level!
Whether you are looking to land your first roll based trick or you are a competitive rider looking to gain an edge over your competition through riding with more power, style and technique the SLINGSHOT coaches and riders are some of the best in the land and can take you from learning the basics right through to the latest world tour tricks.
The format is two full days of instruction with each rider going through an assessment and highlighting the individual goals. Coaches will then focus on getting you achieving through delivery of basic techniques, tips and drills that get you riding with more consistency, power and style.
The SLINGSHOT coaches have had many successes, you could be the next! Learning the right techniques with guidance in a controlled, positive and fun environment.
Bookings are strictly limited, come for one day or join us for the full program...

Sunshine Coast Summer Epic

Hi Fellow SEQKA members,
Location: Cotton Tree, Sunshine Coast
Time: Sunday 30th Nov, 11am or wind o'clock to 4pm
What can I expect: Entrants shall receive lunch, soft drinks
able to compete in "The Big Air" , "Individual
Boarder Cross" a "Team Boarder Cross Shootout"
and possibly a down winder depending on wind strength and numbers.
So come along with your family members and friends and enjoy
a sensational social outing, have a laugh with some mates and maybe take home
some great prizes.
Confirmation, depending on wind strength will be posted on
all websites by Friday 28th

Down Winder Gold Coast
|
Hi Guys/Gals,
SEQKA is holding another down winder on either the 6th or 7th December (wind permitting). If the wind God doesn't come to the party then the following weekend December 20th or 21st will be chosen.
The ride will be from Phillip Park, Main Beach and the corner of Santa Monica Rd and Marine Parade at Nobbys Beach. Obviously the start and finish will be determined by the wind direction those days.
Check the Announcement forums of SEQKA closer to the date for times of the bus.
A bus will be provided but will be limited to 80 riders. The cost will be $5 for members or $30 for non-members. The Club BBQ fired up at the completion for all the hungry people, soft drinks will also be available.
Looking forward to seeing all the old faces and lots of new ones too.

Ben is running a 2-day clinic to help kiters like you progress their skills in the surf and increases their enjoyment as well as their safety.
What Ben will teach you 2 days will fast track your skills by significant amounts, in fact past participants are amazed with their improvemnt by adopting Ben's key principles.

Brighton Ride Day SEQKA

Hi Everyone,
The winds on for the 2nd ride day at Brisbane's most popular northern beach. All level of riders can attend this day but you are required to be a member of AKSA. You can do this on the Rego Night Oct 8th or you can get your insurance tag on the day.
There will be a free BBQ and soft drinks will be available for purchase. This is a family day as well, so please bring everyone along to enjoy the festivities.
Where: Corner of Nineteenth Avenue and flinders Parade, Brighton
When: 13th or 14th December if this weekend has no wind we shall post it on all sites by 5pm Friday 12th. There will be no back up date so close to Christmas.
Time: 11am till 4pm
There will be a 'Big Air Shootout' and 'Expression Session' and prizes will be awarded, as well as a free ride all day.
The numbers may be limited so please email myself president@seqka.com or P.M me through Seabreeze or www.seqka.com.
