Wild night blows yachts ashore in Brisbane Water

Yachts blown ashore around Brisbane Water greeted the volunteers from Marine Rescue Central Coast on Sunday morning. After gale force winds overnight Saturday, owners called for assistance for vessels aground at Hardy's Bay, Point Frederick and Saratoga. The yacht at Saratoga was a visiting American 52 foot vessel, Mako, from Houston, Texas. The vessel was left on a temporary mooring but was found hard aground between two wharves at Saratoga. Central Coast Lifeboat, with Brian Warburton and his crew checked out each vessel. The yachts had been blown ashore during the high tide overnight and were in no danger. No
