Into the Void - Sea Trout Fishing in Patagonia.

Looks like a great place to drop in a line...
“The very idea of sea trout fishing in the middle of the desert is just as sick as it gets… Just look around, this is just plain desert, there’s nothing except a couple of sheep running around”

Winding its way through the wild Patagonian landscape, the Rio Gallegos river feeds the baron desert surrounding it. It’s not exactly the place to see 4x4’s driving around with fishing rods strapped to the top. But in the river, live Sea Trout, big ones. That’s why these guys are here.

They’ve come from all over the world, 9 countries to be exact, flying around 20 hours each to spend a few days in the river. They all love fly fishing and despite the locations unique challenges, it’s possible to catch some decent fish with the right technical know-how. Although guide Pablo Saraco says you still need to work for it, otherwise where would the fun be?

Check out the video, it’s one of the best we’ve seen so far from the Fishing world!
