Lemax jig rods have built a reputation around quality combined with affordability and the new Lemax Grand Master jig rod brings this accessibility to anglers who love the challenge of the light jig.
The Grand Master has been built for jigs ranging between 60-150g and light weights between PE 1-3. The two models, both made for threadline reels, come in lengths of 6'1" and 6'6" and feature Fuji reel seats and Lemax’ custom silicone carbide guide system.
A new innovation for Lemax rods is the adjustable butt length which allows anglers to reduce or increase the length of the rod's butt. To use the rod for a slower wrist-oriented style of jigging simply unscrew the butt cap and back section of the rod and then replace the cap on the new end section. To lengthen it, do it in reverse order.
The Lemax Grand Master is built around a high-modulus graphite blank with EVA rod grips and imparts a full body jigging action. Recommended retail prices are between $200-$210.
