Qld anglers reminded of new fish size limits in place
Commercial and recreational fishers should be aware that new size limits for bream, tarwhine and tailor came into effect on the 1st of March 2010..

The new minimum size limits are as follows:
  • Minimum yellowfin and pikey bream sizes increased from 23 cm to 25 cm
  • Minimum tarwhine sizes increased from 23 cm to 25 cm
  • Minimum tailor sizes increased from 30 cm to 35 cm.
The changes to size limits are a part of last year's overhaul of the inshore fin fish fishery regulations.
