RISE Fly Fishing Film Festival 2010 to kick off in July

RISE, the world's largest fishing film festival, is about to hit theatres on the Australian leg of its 2010 tour.

Throughout July and August cinema audiences will be treated to a selection of fly fishing films presented in high definition on the big screen. This year festival will showcase a variety of movies from Broome, New Zealand, Mexico, California and Iceland. Gin-Clear Media's The Source - New Zealand will be the festival's feature movie.

The Source - New Zealand set out to capture the special moments that define a fishing trip and through these get a glimpse of what the Kiwi experience means to featured anglers. For some, it meant casting size 18 emergers to brown trout during a blanket hatch, for others it was the triumph of catching a 10lb + fish on a dry fly or it was the thought of a jet boat ride into a remote fiord!

RISE - Fly Fishing Film Festival 2010 will stop in more than twenty five cities, including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Hobart, Launceston, Perth and Darwin.
