Hadlow's back on top, and his mum's making handbags.

Title
Aaron Hadlow's back on top of the VKWC podium for the first time in years, and his mum has just decided to sew up some handbags out of his old kites! Yep, weird chain of events, but that's what's happening in the Hadlow household. After years trying to make a comeback, Aaron Hadlow today stood atop the VKWC Podium in Germany, winning the freestyle finals against rivals Liam Whaley and Carlos Mario. Attributing the win to his mate, Ruben Lenten, who this week shocked the kiteboarding community with the announcement that he has cancer, Aaron was obviously stoked to be there. Stomping a list of tricks including Heel Front 7's, a Slim 7 and Backside 315, the english kiter was deserving of the win. Earlier in the week, Hadlow gave a shout-out to his mum on social media, pimping her business selling handbags. These are no Gucci knockoffs, these bags are hand stitched from Hadlows own personal kites! Called 'Sewn Again', Hadlows mum has started a company selling the bags for under $50, and every one is totally unique! There's only so many kites an ex-world champion kiteboarder can throw in the bin, and currently they're all Flexifoil kites from his former sponsor. How long will it take for North kites to circulate through the system, to become a 'Sewn Again' handbag? Check them out here if you want to carry around a piece of ripstop, personally ridden by Aaron Hadlow himself!
