The Next Generation - Kids kiteboarding from F-One

In 2012, F-One began a program dubbed the Next Generation. Kids showing promise in the sport of kiteboarding would be trained and mentored through camps, in the hope that they would one day turn into the next pro team, or stand atop the podium in the world tour.

This year, they travelled to Fuerteventura with Etienne Lhote, a former pro for F-One at the head of their training staff. They took eleven kids between 10 and 17 to the desert for a week, and taught them new kiting skills as well as how to lay on the floor and be still. Just for a moment of meditation.

The stoke in these kids is great to see, aside from the amazing talent from some tiny little bodies - they get up to heaps of mischief. Expect to see towel slapping, practical jokes and even the old armpit fart. There's oversize sunnies, braces on teeth and encouragingly, not a Playstation in sight. A couple of girls were invited too, so for those of you with daughters, get them to check this out!
