Why do you kite? Golden Glow by James Boulding

This guy makes a great soundtrack to kiting...
Get ready to have a think, a deep, meaningful think about why you go kiteboarding. James Boulding takes you on that journey with the help of an inspiring man named Alan Watts.

Who? I hear you say? Alan Watts, he’s the epitome of what you’d expect when told to think of a philosopher. Well spoken, wise and of course sporting a magnificent beard. He died in 1973, aged 58 but in his time brought his wisdom and teachings to many thousands of people, and he’s about to bring it to you.

Talking about the real motivation behind why we do our sport of kiteboarding.

He says: “What would you like to do if money were no object? How would you really enjoy spending your life? Better to have a short life that is full of what you like doing, than along life spent in a miserable way. And After all, if you do really like what you’re doing, it doesn’t matter what it is, you can eventually become a master of it.”

Check out the video and prepare to be inspired not only by the words spoken behind the video, but by James Bouldings riding and cinematography. Its beautiful, skillful and extremely entertaining.
