The fourth edition of China Cup International Regatta will be held 29 Oct to 01 Nov 2010 in the waters of Daya Bay, Shenzhen, China. NOR will be available shortly.

With race management by Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club (and CYA observer), the regatta will kick off with a Hong Kong to Shenzhen passage race, followed by inshore races and island races in Shenzhen. Racing will be provided for entries from Racing Class, One Design classes, classes raced under IRC, SBR ratings or COA HKPN Handicap numbers provided that all boats are capable of meeting the requirements of ISAF Offshore Regulations for Category 5 races. Subject to the number of entries, the classes may be altered at the discretion of the Race Committee.

The following changes of the 2010 edition will bring more excitement to competitors:

China Cup will be awarded to winners in each class (instead of only the Beneteau 40.7 One Design Class, as in previous editions of CCIR).

More races are being planned for the 4-day regatta (9 races as against 6 races previously). Windward/leeward and island races will give you a fulfilling sailing experience in the picturesque Daya Bay of Shenzhen.

National Sailing Federations and Navy teams from Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippine etc are invited to submit entries, to make this year's sailing event even more competitive.

Sponsorship of boats/teams in the One-Design Beneteau 40.7 division is encouraged and the organizer expects stronger challengers and more countries represented. So far, teams from UK, France, Norway, Australia, Estonia, Israel, Turkey, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Japan and Hong Kong have expressed their intention for this year's race.
