7:08 PM Wed 28 Jul 2010 GMT 'Launching ramp - Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron' Suellen Hurling &copy Suellen Hurling, Marine Manager for Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron (RQYS) has today announced that RQYS will host the World Laser Radial Men and Youths Championships in 2012. The dates have yet to still be confirmed although it is likely the championships will be held during the April - May period. Based on previous World Championships, 200 plus boats can be expected to attend. In 2003 the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron successfully hosted the Laser Radial Worlds event.
