Sometimes you just look at a picture and find that no matter how hard you look, it’s all right. We thought that when we saw this pic from Naish Stand Up Paddling of Mariko Strickland Lum.

Foot on the tail pad, positioned close to the rail, weight back. Paddle planted for balance, turning right on the lip, sunset just peeking out from behind her body. What more could you ask for. It’s a great pic from a great stand up paddler, and we were not at all surprised to hear she did so well at the Turtle Bay Pro earlier this year.
