Picture this. You’re on a surf trip in South America. You pull up In the dirt clearing they call a carpark and look out on a green and glassy hander. It’s throwing a lip on 3 out of 5, it’s overhead. What do you grab off the roof?

Torren Martyn grabs his twin fin.

Yep, a twin fin on a perfect South American right hander. That’s the way he rolls, and he does it beautifully.

Torren is a master of two, we’ve seen him In Australia in his

' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>collab with Surf Stitch before, but every time the graceful lines of that awkward looking twin fin short/long/whatever-it-is board grace our screens, it’s hard not to watch.

Which begs the question, is this kind of surfing a blast from the past? Or a glimpse into the future? Watch Torren Martyn on his recent trip to South America right here.
