Taj Burrow looks to Fiji

Taj Burrow can't wait for Fiji...
With one week to go before the worlds best surfers descend into Fijian airspace, Taj Burrow is looking forward to a week of perfection in Namotu, Fiji.

“I don't think i'm the only one that is excited about Fiji being the next world tour event! Heaven on earth, here we come!” Said Burrow earlier this week.

Why wouldn’t after this dreamlike experience a little over two years ago in the very same location? Filmed from the air, the natural beauty and surfing perfection that is Namotu becomes apparent. Add a more-than-competent surfer like Taj Burrow to the mix and you’re talking fully blown minds. Check the video out below.

As for the rest of the competitors, all is quiet on the home front this week as they prepare for one of the biggest stops of the tour. Namotu always goes off when the ASP comes to town, with the peeling reef break frequently jacking up well overhead, it’s going to be a welcome change to last weeks surfing in Rio.

Contributing to the excitement around Fiji, is the return of the Womens Fiji Pro, which after an eight year hiatus is bringing 17 of the worlds best female surfers to the iconic break. Competing for us will be Steph Gilmour, Laura Enever, Sally Fitzgibbons, Tyler Wright, Dimity Stoyle and Nikki Van Dijk.

Check out the video below if you want to get psyched up for the ASP World Tour, starting on the first of June in Namotu, Fiji.
