Lenny's Lanes

Kai Lenny shows us how it's done when the kona winds kick in.

Whenever the Kona winds start to blow in Maui, it gives the boys the perfect opportunity to practice some port tack sailing. With this in mind, the young Maui ripper, Kai Lenny (Naish boards, Naish Sails) persuaded his dad to hold the camera and catch the action. Watch it HERE.

Don't be fooled by the first section of the film where Lenny gets an absolute working! After about 2 minutes it cuts into the real stuff with the likes of Lenny, Jason Polakow (JP, NeilPryde), Robby Swift (JP, NeilPryde), and Levi Siver taming some huge sets.

Looks like the boys will still be able to tear it up on tour at the port tack destinations, including the new 'Cold Hawaii' event in Denmark - that is if they can handle the water temperature!
