Very nice collection of music Lacey and everyone else who's contributing.. I've really enjoyed all of them. Here's only another 2:15 more minutes of your life you will never get back.
And JC at his best - I think he died at the top of his game.

To enjoy this edition of "Cisco's Friday Night Music Spot." I can only say "You had to be there." It was at the "Melbourne Hotel" Bundaberg and you can find it on Facebook apparently. I don't do that stuff. The band playing was a once only performance of the "Ice Bucket and Beer Keg Band". There were guitars, two flutes, a trumpet and a saxophone and a drummer without drums except for the ice bucket and beer keg supplied by the establishment and a couple of singers. The performance was brilliant and eventually brought tears to my eyes. The drummer had no drums to play upon so a member of the audience (about ten at most) grabbed an ice bucket and a beer keg for the drummer to play upon. Like I say, "You had to be there." and there is no You Tube vid I could post that would compare. All I can say is that great live music is alive and well in Bundaberg. The time of this post is one hour and a half after the pub shut. I hope your musical Friday Night was as good as mine.

Hey laceys!! Great music posts!! Makes up for my lack of imagination tonight. Especially Venus by Shocking Blue. A riled up number.

That is great SandS. What you might call one of his more jointed numbers if one ignores the animations. Edit:- Just a shame the vid did not go to the end of the performance.

Really cant help myself going back to that very defining year of 1969. It was the last year Rolls Royce made the alloy con rods for Triumph 650 cc Bonneville and 500 cc Daytona motor cycles and they were the best Triumph motor cycles ever produced in the British tradition. Couldn't find a '69 model for sale and I am not surprised. here is a '67 model Bonneville. http://www.bikesales.com.au/all-bikes/private/details.aspx?R=10036072&keywords=Bonneville&YearFrom=543&__Ntk=BikeAll&__Nne=15&__Dx=mode%20matchany&__Qpb=1&__D=Bonneville&silo=1400&YearTo=579&seot=1&__sid=132092C5E47E&__N=1432%20604%201429%201626%201428%204294967248%20543%20579%201468&__Ns=p_IsPoa_Int32%7c0%7c%7cp_RankSort_Int32%7c1%7c%7cp_HasPhotos_Int32%7c1%7c%7cp_Make_String%7c0%7c%7cp_Model_String%7c0%7c%7cp_YearMade_Int32%7c1%7c%7cp_PriceSort_Decimal%7c1%7c%7cp_PhotoCount_Int32%7c1&__Ntx=mode%20matchallpartial&Cr=1&__Ntt=Bonneville&trecs=2 This one is as near to the real thing as one is likely to find for a Daytona. Worth more than a Bone probably. It does have the twin carbs and the twin leading shoe front brakes. http://www.bikesales.com.au/all-bikes/private/details.aspx?R=10863416&__sid=132092C5E47E&__Qpb=1&Cr=0&__Ns=p_IsPoa_Int32%7c0%7c%7cp_RankSort_Int32%7c1%7c%7cp_HasPhotos_Int32%7c1%7c%7cp_Make_String%7c0%7c%7cp_Model_String%7c0%7c%7cp_YearMade_Int32%7c1%7c%7cp_PriceSort_Decimal%7c1%7c%7cp_PhotoCount_Int32%7c1&keywords=&__N=1432%20604%201429%201626%201428%204294967248%204294955762&seot=1&__Nne=15&trecs=1&silo=1400 It was also the year of the Triumph TR6 motor car, a fine example of which can be seen here:- http://www.carpoint.com.au/all-cars/private/details.aspx?Cr=0&R=10951396&keywords=&trecs=3&__Ns=pCar_RankSort_Int32|1||pCar_Price_Decimal|1||pCar_Make_String|0||pCar_Model_String|0&__sid=12EFC22362B0&__Nne=15&__Qpb=1&seot=1&__N=834 1216 1247 1252 1282 4294962768 4294962814&silo=1011 It was the year of the MachI Mustang:- http://www.justmustangs.com.au/html/cars-sold-69Mustang.htm That year was also the year of Woodstock. Richie Havens' performance was the first presented in the movie of the concert event. Hope you enjoy it.
Also there was Jefferson Airplane.
