I have done a surf roadtrip around the east coast and i am now selling my campervan.
Its a Toyota Liteace -89. Road worthy and Queensland rego until end of september.
A lot of storage space...for example surfing equipment.

That's because everybody who had one of those in the 70's were given it by their rich parents, usually so they would do more at their private school than go to footy practice.
Genuine surf vans were Kombis and clapped out Holden station wagons.

I had a holden sandman panelvan I payed for myself. Even now with all the new cars I loved that old car more.

If you had something like this you would be travelling in style.
Air conditioned, power steering, 5 speed manual, sports exhaust, ton of fun to drive, 600 klm to a tank of petrol, 135,000 klm on the clock and only cost $1,000 plus $100 for the dome.
If you offered me $5,000 and your van for it, I would not take the deal.
