I have almost every attachement for GoPro's ever made  except for the WiFi backpack, which will be ordered this Friday.. So of course I also have the GoPole options as I am compiling a Kitesurfing photobook for my overseas family.

30Jun12 - Details: Hi there, I have already purchased the Bobber, the Gopole Mini and Gopole Original from you. Recently I dropped the Original on the ground and one of the little ears at the top broke, now the camera is only secure with the center one and the outside one. Is it possible to purchase just the end of the Gopole Original. I haven't even used it and am afraid I may lose the camera while kitesurfing because it is not held by the 3 ears. Please advise if this is possible. I live in the Palm Beach, Queensland 4221, Australia. Tks, V

now there is a company worth standing behind. As a recording engineer and producer I deal with loads of electronic equipment and microphones. One of my mics got knocked over during a session and the capsule was damaged. I sent it to the factory with a note of explanation as to what happened, I had it back in my hands in three days from the time it left my studio, no charge. I payed the shipping there. I was so stoked about the service I wrote the company a letter and have always stated to other engineers about my experience with their backing policy. Good will goes a long way in my book.

Awesome bit of kit, lifetime guarantee, bombproof. We use it as a camp seat, drag it round, throw it here and there, and there's not a scratch on it.
Recently one of the bungee hooks that keep constant pressure on the lid broke. I emailed them, within the day I had a response asking for my address. They sent a free bungee replacement kit to change both bungees. No questions asked. Sent on the same day.
Another example of great customer service.

My Seventhwave steamer had some stitching coming undone, from me being too rough with it. So when I was in Christchurch (NZ) I thought I would drop it off to the factory and get them to repair it and send it back to me. They said that they would contact me in regards to the cost and return shipping.
3 days later my wetsuit turned up at my door. no charges and they even threw in a couple of stubbie coolers as well.
not bad for a wetsuit that I bought 4 years ago!

Just found another great product from a great company...ECO logical sunscreen....
It's all natural... chemical free non nano rubs in so you can't see it...not greasy doesn't sting eyes....UVA UVB and UVC protection....30+ great water resistance.... it works so good ...even when you get out of the water your skin still feels moisturized and not salt dried...they donate 3% to the Surfrider foundation and are a very environmentally active company...it is a Californian company but their products are made in Australia...the chemical uva and uvb absorbers in most sunscreens are so bad for your skin and body..all sunscreens say to apply 20 mins before going in sun so when I jump in car to go for surf/kite I apply it then and give a light top up when I get to beach, good thing about this sunscreen doesn't matter if u don't end up in the water because you can't see it on face and it just feels like a normal moisturizer... ....anyway I highly recommend it...the Body and Baby formula are for use in the water the Face one is a daily moisturizer/sunscreen not designed for use in the water..I use the Body one on face and body ...havn't seen it in the shops yet but can buy online from a few different sites in Australia.

Just continuing the 'brand looking after customers' theme....
A few years ago I was in a small local hardware shop buying some rope. The assistant was looking for something to cut it (off the roll) with. I got out my 'Leatherman' tool and said, "I can cut it with this but will have to use the shears on the pliers because the knife blade is broken".
He replied, "Oh, we can get that fixed for you under warranty"
I told him that the blade was broken because a workmate hit it with a hammer and that I bought it 10+ years ago at a different store, in a different state.
It didn't faze him, he took my details and the leatherman and a couple of weeks later called me to say it was back.
They had replaced most of the 'tools' on it, even those that were just a little worn.
Needless to say I gave his store more of my business after that.
I even had the chance to pay back the karma a little. Some months later an older woman was in the shop and wanted to buy a multi-tool for her daughter but wanted something with a good warranty. In front of the sales guy I explained my warranty story.
The woman bought the top of the line leatherman, the sales guy was stoked, and a kind deed was repaid.....

The Face one is not for the water,it's like a daily moisturizer and can be used under makeup ,the Body and Baby formula are for use in the water 3hr 30+ it stays on so good...I use the Body one on my face and body

Some brand like your Leatherman, And Snap On gear have awesome lifetime warranties, Hence why you pay a premium for the product.
I have personally had my leatherman fixed 5 years after I bought it, and have seen Snap On replace tools with no questions on the spot.
I also had good dealing with a performance car brand last year, Bought a product from the local dealer, It wasn't really doing what I thought it would do with their advertising so I emailed (The UK company as the local dealer I got it from was useless!) them asking to buy the different spring options for the valve.
I got an email back send us your address and we will send all the springs out for you.
When I asked how much, they said don't worry :D
Its rare to find awesome support, but when you do, You will be a repeat customer!

Had great service from skateboard express. Bought my son a longboard for his b'day, and wasn't quite right when it turned up. Rang and explained the urgency and the problem, new one on the way the next day, no charge, no question, no need to send the original back. They also sent me a free set of bearings when one failed.

im fixing up a flexifoil kite for a beginner, anyway the bladder was stuffed phoned a few people in aus trying to get one , wont name shops but a waste of time phoned a dealer in the uk he told me hed phoned around 15 outlets to get his hands on one , hes shipped it emailed me the tracking no and phoned me approx 4 times from the uk during the process, all for 59.99 bucks, i dont fly flexifoils but the service was awsome

Years ago when Best were just starting up and only sold kites off the web and I was just starting kiting I order a cheap prototype Nemesis 12m kite from them ($500) over the web.
Two weeks later a brand new 14m Nemesis turned up. I emailed them explaining the mix up. They said "No worries" we'll send you a brand new 12m Nemesis as good faith for the price of the proto.
I said "What do you want me to do with the 14?
"Keep it, no charge"
So there you go - 2 new kites for $500!

airrush replaced a 2 month old sector 60 v2 with a v3 .
i had a wierd delamination on the deck .
ok i have had to wait and i am still waiting for stock to arrive in oz but still stoked i got an upgrade . Thanks to the boys at airborne for organising it
