no, just curious
but if you buy an SUP as well,,start to worry

Oh dear, does is count how big it is?
Looking for like minded kiters, I will try anything once - Inflato Lei, Matress (foil kite), surfboard but bi-directional is my limit.
PS, must have own paddle.

Hey Rich, I've got a flying lilo, but feel I should warn you that it's bridle system has pulleys too

My SUP is 33" Wide, is it length or width that counts?

Remove the dumbow pullies and dangerous bridals. They will seize, tangle and break. Thats fully fugged up - if you're powered.
Stupid pullies and bridals are completely unnecessary, they are a marketing gimick designed for school kites.
They are a "comfort blankie" for knobs who are scared of kite boarding.
Quote me ^^ if you're a beginner knob...
Blah blah blah ^^^
Blah ahh ha ha sales man knob.
Go back to your shop sell stuff there and not on "social forums"
hook line and sinker!!!

seriously most people who brag about having direct kites and "C" kites are full of it.
youri zoon has 4 pulleys on his bridled kites and does it hold him back any?! im not seeing it.
there is a place for bridles and direct kites, ride what you like and dont try to be "E" tough because you do or dont have pulleys.

And why wouldn't I use one? Bridal parties are known to have well up for it Bridesmaids.
Bridles on the other hand. All my kites have had them (Naish models from 2007 Boxer to 2009 Helix) and as long as you keep an eye on them... only a little maintenance required.

Just to bump this thread a bit, I have a put 2 sets of the sliders on my kites to replace the rings.
Will get back seeing how they affect wear after a few while.
(if you have epic rings on your kites 'SaveTheWhales' I highly suggest getting rid of them)
photo showing them directly compared, going to estimate the surface area for the slider is a great deal higher, guestimating around 5x more =]

PS. postage is cheap if you buy more kites, not a good circle to be in!
