hey little o, i got a 12m kite for christmas, clearly way too big for me and pretty usless here in perth, hubby and kids were trying to get me on the water quicker lol if you wreckon a 7m may be a good size for me I would love to take it off your hands unless you get a more suitable candidate. i'm still saving for my lessons and know I wont be able to afford my gear straight away so may be a good start to get me on the water slightly quicker. was going to sell my 12m but wreckon this forum is a good idea:0)
it's yours might need a bit more wind for it but it'll be a good way to learn kite control. Maybe with a bigger board or surf board to make it a bit easier to get up?? i'm moving over the next two days but you can come get it from my new place when your free.... good karma has already come back in the form of the real estate giving us the keys for our new place today instead of sat.. makes things a whole lot better. and also new neighbours seem great. and they were drinking beer when i rocked up....at 10:30am and they are keen to become kiters :)

Thanks heaps Chelle I'm sure my daughter will be chuffed. Popped into Darrens shop today there is amongst all the new goodness a nice stash of free stuff building up. This is such a great idea.

Just a suggestion but maybe we should keep the stuff going from house to house instead of a daz drop off?? I could see it getting pretty hard for him to store all of the stuff in his business...... just a suggestion..anyone agree?? unless the pickeruppers buy lots of kites and then he gets his karma....

Answered your own question there Ms O. Ooohhh.. shiny new stuff.. must have kewl shiny new stuff. Not a bad reward I reckon. Hopefully Daz will sort the wheat from the chaff and ensure the chaff are signed up for lessons (if appropriate) too.

Swung by AKS this arvo with the Surf Wrax, 13m Yarga and even found an old prototype kite (with a useful bag) to drop off too. Good Karma came straight up as I bolted from the shop and down to swanny where the wind was crankin this arvo. Had a great DW sesh on my fav 7m. Best kind of sore right now.

Thanks Chelle for the kite. Had a good but breif session on it today. Unfortunately it was its last session. Didn't quite got to plan ! Needless to say here's my contribution to keep the good Karma flowing.. Got a pair of Kiting goggles. Look like the fly :) And a hooded Rashie. Worn once otherwise brand new. Size XL I think. PM me if you want them. Will drop them into Darrens store if they don't dissapear in a couple of days... Oh also got a Bar & Lines for an '07 RRD Type8. Small birdsnest, about 5 beer untangle ! Cheers Simon

Hi everyone, SO stoked this thread is going well and lots of people scoring some sweet free stuff and paying it forward. As much as I'd like to help by collecting free stuff at the shop, I am VERY short on space with the arrival of a heap of new kites with more on the way so I cannot take any more large items like kites. Unless you all come and buy a heap of new kites to make space I currently have three free kites (probably heading to PNG if Marv comes and grabs them), two harnesses, and brand new soft roof racks. Please come and collect your booty and keep paying it forward. I am still happy to hold smaller items and even the odd board for short periods of time but large kites are too bulky. Thanks everyone!

Whoa Chris! , some big Karma coming your way mate. Awesome offering. The Fusion is an 06/07 if I'm not mistaken, and has extra fin options, and brand new 2011 Airush footstraps. What a score! Someone needs to find some good stuff to pay forward for this one! DM

Hi Chelle, Apparently it didn't like getting wet ! Was riding it for about 20 mins, caught an edge on the board and fell off. Kite fell out of the sky. Was a little underpowered. Lines tangled and I couldn't relaunch it. Ended up self rescueing. Holding the handles and being pulled in caused tears around the handle attachement points. Plus when the kite went thru the waves, it twisted up and the lines chopped it up a bit. Bit sad really, wasn't too bad to fly..... Props for the bloke who went out and brought my board back. Hope the beers went down well ! Simon

Hey Chris/Daz Would this be any good for me to try wave riding?? I already "paid it forward" with a decent kite to Chelle today :) Cheers
