Has anyone tried the Tona Pop and what did you think, how did it compare to other wake style boards. Also does anyone sell them in Oz?

Yep we do sell them and they are in stock now. Genuine wholesale enquiries invited too! We loaned one out yesterday but I heard the guy did not go out, was very gusty, but definitely doable....... http://www.kitepower.com.au/tona-pop.html

Flying then kids tomorrow. Maybe Sat morning if the forecast is right. Thanks Troyrotor, I've looked at the reviews there, was just after someone else's opinion as their probably a little bit bias on kite scoop.

I took one for a few runs yesterday at Wanda. Very nice- maybe due to it being heavier than what im used to (Cab Custom '11) it charges through chop giving very stable feeling- same for landing jumps.. good pop, bit heavy swing weight but hopefully can get used to it soon enough. Nice on waves, had some monsters out back and did some turns on them and no danger of catching an edge/rail. Love the dimensions and size of the 38- no spray to face all the time. Will try again in better suited conditions. I only took it for a spin cause it was new and the wind came in strong enough while i was on my surfboard. I would think it will be a screamer in super flat stuff or behind a boat or cable.

Your guess is as good as mine. Didn't seem like shameless pimping so not 100% sure why it was red thumbed.

Thanks Saffer and O for the positive comments. I think there must have only been a couple of red thumbs and now its balanced out to neutral. Again it doesn't matter but getting red thumbs made me wonder what was the point of doing a review.

So would we say compare it to the steeze somewhat?! Heavier wake style variant also solid landings? Just without the channels/long long fins.

I haven't ridden the Steeze but comparible i would say by the specifications. Definately solid landings on the Pop. Juicerider hopefully you get a demo and test it out yourself. Again I'll post again when I get another crack at the POP!

Due to not having my own board I decided to get one of these from WOK. Only been out once on it so far at Mullaloo on Thursday, so cant judge it yet. Cant wait for some wind and flat water.

I hear they are heavy. Anyone got a weight on these boards? Not saying heavy is bad, just wondering

Gambler weighs in at 2.6 (136cm), 2.9 (139cm) and 3.0 (142cm) for comparison. So it is quite a big heavier but can you notice it when riding? Looks like it is a sweet board!
