Just a warning about having your car keys in your bag on the beach. I had my kite bag stolen while in the water at chicken shop this morning, they then cleaned out my car of clothes/phone/$/ and another black/red North Fuse 7m. If you hear anyone trying to sell one off around Adelaide let me know.
Yes, that can be a double blow. I had the same thing happen a few years ago at Largs, luckily they didn't get into the car (not sure why). I've used a waterproof pouch ever since. If you forget the pouch, I've wondered about hiding the keys separate to the bag to lessen the chances of them getting the car.
There's a surf pad lock you can buy that locks onto the toe eye of your car, combination lock fits 4 to 5 keys in it.best $80 I ever spent after I had my I phone stolen
cut a spare key attach to your bathers use that to lock your normal use keys/remotes somewhere in the car
I have had a key cut without the electronics and wear it around my neck.
Any key cutter can do this and must only be used in the door.
Have been doing this for years with a late model commodore.
I think the cost was $40.
