Sunday arvo looks to be shaping up OK.

Anyone up for a down-winder? I assume the main option would be south arm, but never really been anywhere but 7-mile in a SW wind. Anyone got suggestions?

Hey. Carlton is an option. I am keen to go and was hoping someone would be there too. If it's blowing I'll be there at midday.

Yeah all three possible for a downwinder. Southarm would be the most cross shore but can be a bit spooky.

Carlton then, and maybe a car shuffle around midday.

dusted the cobwebs off for my first kite since last summer at Mortimer Bay - sketchy 16-20 knots WSW, plenty of flat water

I had a fun but short session at Carlton and then Park. Broke my binding so had to call it a day. Such a great spot at Park and so uncrowded! Looking forward to plenty more sessions coming up.

Will have to do the car shuffle next time. Had a good session too, but wind kept easing off andit here was too much walking back up the beach!

For sure! I reckon I will hit up Carlton a lot this summer. Good vibe there and plenty of space. I've lived in Melbourne past 10 years and just come home. So nice to not have to deal with traffic and crowds!

I kited Dolphin sands for the first time last Sunday, what direction was it at Park? I reckon it was a touch too west for Dolphin Sands as it was quite gusty coming off the land, and not a lot of swell was getting in. Still fun and I don't think you could get much more of a picturesque spot to kite with the Hazards in the background.

Looks like Carlton will be on again for next 3 days, anyone heading down? Ill try and make it everyday :)

Sunday was SW when I was there. Dolphin sands sounds awesome!

I'm keen for Friday at Carlton/Park. Might see you there.
