Welcome to the Seabreeze forum for Victorian kiters.
We hope that the forum is actively used by the kiting community to discuss Victorian kiteboarding matters.
The Victorian Kite Boarding Association (VKBA) INC, also known as Kiteboarding Victoria [KBV] is a non profit organisation run by volunteers with a passion of kiting, with the aim of making kiteboarding safe and fun.
Under the changes agreed in 2011, KBV and the other incorporated state associations are now affiliated with our national kiteboarding body, AKSA. All Victorian kiteboarders who are members of AKSA are automatically members of KBV and vice versa.
The aims of KBV are to: 1.Promote a strong community of Victorian kiters 2.Promote the safe practice and enjoyment of our sport while maintaining optimum access for all kiters to Victoria's beaches 3.Promote the sport of kiteboarding within Victoria through a spirit of cooperation with local industry, communities, councils, and agencies
KBV has a number of initiatives in place to support our aims - details of these can be seen on our web site http://www.kbv.org which is also the main point of communication.
If you have any questions, comments, or feedback, or would like to join your KBV committee, please contact us directly at info@kbv.org.au or via our website, www.kbv.org.au.
In the meantime, KBV will endeavour to use a number of channels to communicate updates including: -Our website (www.kbv.org.au) -Our free mailing list (for KBV and non-KBV members) -The Victoria/KBV Seabreeze forum - Other sources as they become available
The best way to contact KBV regarding any queries or feedback is at our mail address or via the KBV website.
This is a great sport - lets look after it, See you on the water, Your KBV Committee.
