Sad news to tell you that Les Bews passed away on Sunday 8th May after a four month battle trying to beat a brain tumor, alas we've lost a dear friend and fellow Blokarter.
His funeral will be on Monday 16th May at the Hemmant Crematorium at 1pm if you would like to attend.
Les' wife Murrie sends her thanks for all the friendship and fun we put into Les' life over the last couple of years.

Rest in Peace Les

On Behalf of HVLS Club members we wish to pass on our condolences to Mrs Murrie Bews on the passing away of Les Bews.

Les' camaraderie will be missed in the Super Heavy Blokart Sailing Division, as will his good company also.

We had the good fortune to camp next to Les for the past x2 State of Origin events at Evans Head, and share a beer or two, some laughs, & swap fishing stories.

God Bless Les, and Rest in Peace.

John S., Paul A., Brian W., Johno L. & HVLS Club members.
