Nice photos Blokam, but where's the sailing video to really show it off?

By Seabreeze report it looks good for... fishing. Any wind?

Now if you meet any single gals there in my age bracket, please put in a good word. That's a good chap.

See you Wednesday

Hey Paul, did you find it hard to not try and steer with your feet??

That might explain why he kept wriggling his toes before every corner when he was racing ??

managed to read 4 chapters of "war and peace" in the second onewas going to read "the Art of war "in the next one , but the insurance company wimped out. as much as I hate hand steering the bigger front wheel was very nice to operate with hand steering.
in light winds not having foot pedals was ok , you could get your weight well forward ( toes over the front wheel) , I believe that is discussed in chapter 3

I was tempted to also add slippers and a hot chocolate(with marshmellow on top) to the pix, to help portray Landyachts' relaxed racing style !

congrats on your win !

Since you brought up the big wheel Paul, were you aware at the time you were the only production blokart in the comp running a big front wheel, the scruitineers only picked up on it after everything was done and dusted.
Not that it would have made any difference, you sailed very well and won your events by a sizeable margin.
A little bird told me that you are in the market for a seond hand Blokart, well I know where you can pick one up with all the fruit, two sails, pod, race based mast, spare axles ect for $2000.00 CASHOLA.

Get your people to talk to my people and we just might have a deal

Actually they picked up at the original scrutineering. I was told that i couldnt have it, and drew thier attention to a little publication entitled" BLOKART One design Handbook "page 5 rule B.9.7
"A Big Fork may be used to allow the fitting of a rear wheel in place of the front wheel Applicability Production YES Performance YES"
It clearly stated that I could run a big wheel and fork.
I was suprised that they were not up to speed with that particular aspect.
It was great to be at a comp where the competitors knew exactly where they stood on equipment and racing rules
.At the time that I questioned the scrutineers there was one NON scrutineer standing around offering his interpretation of the rule, but the BLOKART organization deserves a pat on the back for making the rule quite clear.
Maybe the fatter front wheel is something for other production competitors to consider before they start spending the big cashola on performance gear that may be beyond thier current level of experience[}:)]

so I hear a rumour that your in the market for a MINI theyre in big demand at the moment!!!!!!!!! so you'd better hurry as they are going fast
