Yeah it;s a great spot. I use to go Kiting there about 8 years ago. Do they still have the old club area and bbq out there.

Yes it is if you mean from the access off Esperance Coolgardie Hwy.
A fantastic venue to have all sorts of fun.

The lake is in the best condition I've ever seen it, at the moment. Absolute glass.

Yeh it's beautiful.
From my photo above you can see it was a pretty gloomy sky last weekend.

Greg was sailing and I was in my kite buggy out towards the new mine and a drizzly shower of rain came through and we were in a complete white out.
We were tacking back in the direction to where I "thought" the cars were, based entirely on the wind direction, as it looked as if the showers had set in for the day.
After a while the shower did ease and the NE end of the causeway loomed back into view out to the south.
It was surreal as there was no definition from lake surface to sky, just a huge white environment like sailing inside a solid cloud.

Same thing happened to me out there, had no idea where we were, lucky I was using my gps a there was also a wind change that would have taken us in a different direction away from the causeway. strange experience.

I saw a strange sight on a clear sunny day on the lake.
There was water on part of the lake several kms away which reflected the blue sky, the horizon was invisible where the water was, the illusion was that the sky was spreading out over the lake.
