It arrived today and I was straight out into 2' of wind swell and chop with back was from the rocks. I couldn't believe how stable the board was, more stable than my Bark contender. I caught some great runs in with it jacking up across reefs, nose would bury but then just pop back up. I got the skating feeling that others have commented on, but when you have had it a couple of times it feels fine . Then I

surfed small wave at the beach, board is very easy to manouvre on the wave and paddles out well. I'm about 87kg and an average paddler

That's because it's the same as the x28 only 2" narrower.

I haven't measured it but it says X26 top and bottom

100%, look at the 6 on the 12'6 the same as the 6 on X26. will try and remember to take a better picture for you tomorrow

one thing that really lets it down though is the bag, you spend a fortune on the board and get a nice red and white bag, only to find it is about 32" wide and says it is for a 2014 12'6 Glide. I asked and was told they do one bag for 12'6 and one for 14'. Even so it would still be baggy on a Glide

Remember most other top brands that you also pay top $$$$ for don't even come with a bag as standard (starboard/DC....).
My dad has tried a prolimit 12'6 bag. Fit is also not much better! He uses bicycle bungey straps to stop flapping when on the roof and works well.
I really wish they had changed the red/white colours as it makes it look like you have a Fanatic on the roof(!). And bring back the 2013 days.... my 12'6 LE x24 has a bag that fits perfect and is black and white. Only sad thing is I want the new board so will have to sell it :(

Hey btw guys, if those pictures above are a x26.... kai lenny must be on something way narrow (x24) by looking at the tail?....

It is a X24 a friend in the know (he is on the team) told me a while ago when we talking about the new boards. It looks more pulled in at the bow as well

I was able to demo the Jav 12'6 x 26 and 28, and also the Jav 14' x 26 and 28 today - all in the LE. Nice easy flat water. Sooo nice but was hard picking out what would suit me. Im 6'1 x 93 kilo and Im leaning toward the Jav 14 x 26 LE. Feels light and fast. Im coming off a 2014 glide carbon and the Jav feels very stable and super responsive so I think I can afford to lose that little bit of width and be gaining the extra speed and weight advantage.........just got to rob a bank... :)
