2 words Ke Nalu (and I have no vested interest in Ke Nalu, the manufacturer or the importer, i paid hard earned cash for my paddle in the usual way, am not sponsored by anyone and know jack about SUP really but I do like the paddle)

Very depending on the conditions. In clean waves and no wind I like my Kialoa Shaka Puu a lot. Its light, stiff and precise and a tiny bit bigger as the Methane wich i Prever when paddling in on bigger waves. But when you make long days in confused waves and wind I prever wood. Wood is much easier on your body due the weird kind of flex. You can,t really discribe it with any words but feels awesome,a bit like Titanium cycling bikes. A friend of me who is very handy made these for me and my girlfriend. Another friend borrowed it and broke it :( , now i have to go this autumn/winter all the way to Maui to get me the real deal: a Malama [img]
