Hi Piros
I did not mean copying - I want you to find / make a different improved version etc?, and also Piros previously I saw a video of you explaining the theory behind JPs fin box placement (straight - everyone else has theirs angled-in a bit) I agree with you - so do your fins come with a cant or toe-in option so as to simulate the JP fin set-up that no other board has or do you now think it does not matter to you? - can you please explain ?:-)
thanks regards John :-)

I got it and thanks for replying, Rob.

Do you offer V8 and V6 CENTER FINS that will fit FCS and Futures boxes? If not, that might be a good idea for a MEGA 12 FIN COMBO.

I also sent you another PM.

Only have the V6 at this stage I'll see if I can ad some 8's in the new shipment. Just got word first week of September delivery

John I hear what you are saying but the point of the VP combo's is to try and suit all the different boards and take out the confusion and be able to swap fins from front to back.

RE :- Cant (how much the fin leans out) & Toe (how much the fin is angled in towards the stringer or centre of your board)

FSC Fins:- Don't have Cant they are all straight (except for H2's which don't suit a Sup) The Cant is built into the fins plugs. The original FCS plugs come in 0 , 5 or 9 degree Cant . In all production Sups they have 0 degree Cant plugs. So basically if you have bought a production with Sup with FCS plugs you already are surfing fins with no Cant. But the NEW FCS 11 system only comes with 4 degrees Cant. Imagine is the only Sup brand I know that is using the new system (2015 models).

Future Fins:- All their fins have the Cant built into the fin and ALL the boxes are 0 degree. This is where my Future style fins are Different I have made them all straight with no Cant.

Toe:- JP is the only manufacturer that sets all fins straight with no Toe. BUT generally the rear fins on all quad set up boards are straight with no Toe. All my fins are straight with my toe offset. The only way you can change Toe is to remove the box and set it back in straight.

Clear as mud , hope this answers your questions John.

Thanks Piros for the info, why don't you maybe make some fins with reverse toe so that people without JPs can have the same effect ?:-)

Hi John couldn't do reverse toe you could never make the bases strong enough.

Hi Piros - yes I know they have cant but also toe, - what about a full carbon base or carbon version would that be strong enough ?:-)

I have a few questions about these fin sets...

1) Are the rear thruster fins the exact same dimensions as the side thruster fins?

2) Do the rear thruster fin sets come with Future and FCS compatible bases or do they only fit long center boxes?

3) I looked through this entire thread again and don't see the actual dimensions. Does anyone have the dimensions? (base and height)

Thanks

Ok folks here they are the new Limited Edition VP fins. They turned out pretty expensive to manufacture so looks like these will be a one off and I won't be naming them.

Check them out here , drop me an email for any more info.
