Marty Cole picked up his custom 10'0" Slong (half SUP, half longboard) the other day. Looks like he is dialing it in pretty quick...

Thanks for the shots Casso. This board is a very different feel to any Sup I have ridden. FLEX!
Bert is a genius and has blended Mal and Sup perfectly. More Mal than Sup..
Have not prone surfed it yet but will be for sure. His performance mal concepts are legendary and this was the big inspiration for getting this one made.

10' x 25.5" by wafer thin.
Basically just thick enough to accomodate carrying handle and fin box. Lots of rocker and very responsive. Nose and especially tail really pulled in.
Workmanship is amazing with all round balsa. Parabolic rail, nose and tail blocks.

Fun machine with smiles and stoke all round round for me.

What a beautiful looking stick - the lines are super sexy & the surfing isn't too shabby either - nice one

Thanks, stoked beyond expectations.
The balsa is pretty dreamy.
Think JB took these photos.

Sorry Jezza, one of those photos of mornings by glory yours.
Thankyou. Great shot.

Had the Slong in various conditions now. Really tricky in double overhead and bigger. Also in heavy wind. Can get some counterflex. The super thin tail makes it a bit tricky to turn for waves in a quick spin as it sinks with back foot right back. With the low volume and high rocker it is a lot slower to paddle than Style or other ten foot Sups I have used. Otherwise amazing lively board. Great fun on long points with more time to get on the nose, draw out turns and really bury the thin rails.
Stoked to say the least. Went really well without the paddle but I prefer it with the big lever to pull it round.
Happy Days.

Got this text post surf from an avid Sup hater. I think he might be impressed by the performance of this Sunova.....

This board just gets better. Like the wood is coming to life with more use. Image may contain: one or more people, ocean, water, outdoor and nature
