I'm excited to see if this will kickstart more interest in unlimited class boards. So much cruisey speed to be had!!!
Great for DC too!!! :)

I know you seem to have a few boards Kieran. Have you spent much time on unlimiteds?

Last year in Hawaii during DW month was my first time and I was hooked!! Got a few runs in here in Sydney's Northern Beaches and down South in Gerroa. Was lucky enough to hit Hawaii again this July for DW month.
yes, unlimited are soooooooo much cruisey DW'ing fun.
There's two stages to learning them I reckon;
1). Stopping trying to muscle them like a 14' And learning patience and bump selection.
2). After learning the above, learning how to REALLY use the rudder to stay on bumps and keep your speed up with little effort.

I'm still learning and have a long way to go to be anywhere near as good as some of the Hawaiian crew. GuEss that just means I just have to keep going to Maui each July to practice!!!! :)

You'd have to speak with the kind people at standup surf shop. You never know your luck!

I already have mate!! Sounds like everything is already spoken for. Ah well, I'll have to try and get a bunch of us together to get boards sent up I think.
