I am not sure if this video will work? I am relaxing in Honolulu after finishing the Molokai 2 Oahu race yesterday. My time was not great at 06.01 but I was simply 'stoked' to be a part of the race and experience this awesome adventure. I had a few troubles when i fell onto the tail of my board (SIC F16) off 'Rabbit Island' and punched my steering mechanism through the deck, forcing my rudder stock post to also punch through the bottom of my board creating a slow leak so finished with a few liters of water in the hollow bilge. I spent the week prior in Maui with 'Iron' Phil, Terrine, Cam etc which was awesome...spurred on by Phil, the eternal 'frother', we scored 10 X Maliko runs in 7 days and the video is from Maliko..
for me the event was a personal journey and i am glad to have finished. The Aussie representation over in Hawaii at the front end of the fleet in SUP and Prone is incredible..something to be proud of for sure.
Aloha Nick Moloney

STOKED for ya Nick. Don't forget come back next year and do the Pai'lolo Channel Crossing it will blow ya mind, it has the best runners in the world. I watch your Sailing video, SEA OF DREAMS you're a WEAPON Nick.
Maliko was Pumping again today with 25 knot winds and is looking good for the rest of the week. I'm the only Aussie left on Maui. I'v borrowed Scot Trudon's f16 bulk fun and fast, last time I paddled an f16 on Maliko was 4 years ago I forgotten how good the f16 really goes just as fast as the Bullet.
I scored a job, doing Learn to surf lessons in the morning, it's a buzz seeing kids with big smiles on there faces after they catch there first wave. Then I go do two Maliko runs in the Afternoon.

here's the damage to my steering which happened at 'Rabbit Island' on approach to Oahu..I fell on the tail of my board just over the steering quadrant and crushed the deck, pushing the rudder shaft compression tube through the bottom of the board. My F16 is hollow and this created a slow leak so i was pretty concerned about finishing. Drained a few liters out of her at the finish, now off to the repair shop.

OK yoghurt land sounds good. Nick I just got back from dinner my Maui friends took me to this Vietnamese Restaurant - A Saigon Cafe - Restaurant without a sign in Wailuku. Best restaurant ever a laugh a minute the staff were just Too Funny I couldn't stop laughing, plus it was my first time eating Vietnamese food and liked it.
