Good Luck to everyone in the race, for those in teams and those taking on the challenge of doing it solo. Jamie Mitchell to take it out again in Paddleboard.

The competitors list is at:

http://www.molokai2oahu.com/event-info/competitors/entry-list/

Be safe and have fun.

P.S who's your tip to win SOLO, Teams, Womens etc??

I wasn't really going out on a limb there Lacey, they are the only registered female team.

But I do hope they all do well, for mine they are winners just getting out there... it's a long bloody race.

How good would it be for Jamie, Billy, Phill, Woogie/Jacko, Ang/Jas to all win their respective divisions. It's possible...

Just spoke with Danny (AEST 7.20am) who is escorting his paddleboarder mate. They are 3 mile from Coco Head. He believes Dave Kalama is way ahead. Scott Gamble 2nd and Billy Watson may be currently 4th. He did not mention Ekolu unless he was 3rd or on a different line.

He said that Todd Bradley and son Christian were leading the SUP Teams. Greg Pavao and team mate Nolan were 2nd.

He said Jamie Mitchell was leading the paddleboard.

Said the conditions were now "rough as *hit"...due to the back wash off Coco Head. They were on a pretty straight line to Portlock and there were alot of crews way way North. Said that even though the tide was apparently going in (North to South), that they were now pushing alot of tide coming from the South.

Found this Live Stream link on Facebook for all you Power Balance Fans !! They are on board with Ekolu Kalama and only upload every hour or so. But it gives you some idea of the conditions.

Where are you finding the results?

Awesome job Jamie! Any news on Jacko and Woogie and the girls, Billy etc? Looked like it would've been horrible around Coco Head, backwash on the sup, after all those K's, ouch!

Great job to all of those guys and girls for getting over there and having a crack at it. That Channel is a special place, 500m deep in the middle and the deepest blue imagineable.

It looks like Dave Kalama first.. Ekolu Kalama second.. Scott ? third.. Michi (Naish) fourth and Connor coming in fifth.. then Livio.

Looks like Dave was on the Glide 17 and Michi looks like he used the Glide 14.. Great effort if he did.

Not even 2 mins Piros...only 1.5 mins behind. Danny said to me this morning when they were off Coco Head that Dave Kalama was that far in front that he coudln't even see the next SUP paddler behind. Even when he looked way North and South of their line.

yes but if conditions are right the SUP should beat him....

Billy came in 8th @ 5:13.27 with Phil only 13 mins behind in 18th @ 5:26.12

Awesome work from the Aussies.....looks like Phil is punching above his age....

I guess DW'er will be happy enough with beating his good Mate Mick D on PB by 10 minutes. No rivalry there or nuffin'. He came in 11th in SUP 18th overall will be better by class. Great effort!

Billy 5th on SUP, 8th overall or 2nd in class to Connor.

Jacko and Woogie, 3rd in teams

Riggs Napolean, youngest ever.... 12y.o just like father, grandfather and grandmother. I think Nappy holds the record for the most crossings...

Heaps more to decipher but will be a lot easier when it's split into classes.
