can you tell me how the shots are taken- is it on a timer or a remote or what? does this camera have a auto shutter drive if that term is still used. i'm from the slr era, that the last cameras i had cheers

The GoPro allows you to take photos every 2 or 5 seconds. I leave it on for the whole session and sort through a couple of thousand photos. Only about 10 or 20 photos are worth keeping. Thanks for all your comments. Im glad you all enjoyed them. Yesterday I had the camera set up and ready to go in some sweet head high waves offshore. When I got out there I went to turn it on and it didnt work... I forgot to put in the batteries And I wasnt going to paddle back in to get them

Nice pics Greenie, don't forget to do some more vids tho, they keep me entertained whilst i'm looking after the kids and not able to get out myself....Prfff.
