Do we detect an element of love or lust there, Phil?

Andrea Moller's words
All I can say is that it is painful. I always thought that if you didn’t fracture a bone your pain would be less. But I’m proving myself wrong - by being my own guinea pig. I detached and tore my hamstrings after a wipe out at Jaws. I’m not really sure if that actually describes the injury. The surgeon explained complete avulsions of 2 muscles with the 3rd muscle hanging on by a string, with major bleeding and damage. Well, I can assure you this has been a tough one for me. I’m trying to ignore the spasms and learn to enjoy things that don’t involve sitting, walking, running, surfing, or even the simplest move of putting my own pants on. I’ll be forever a different paramedic. One that better understands the needs of each individual patient. I’m already a changed person. Appreciation for help has a whole different meaning. Thank you everyone who has been side by side with this challenge. Recovery is my mission now. Any little movement is a huge progress - and I'll appreciate every single bit of progress until I get back on my feet 100%. I believe in positive thinking. #humbled #positivethinking #helpinghands

Thank you Dr. Gerhardt and his team from Santa Monica Orthopedic Group. Thank you @alexfishmaui for all your love. Thanks to so many friends that helped in my medical treatments and continuously make me smile, you know who you are. Mahalo, mahalo, mahalo.

Get well soon Andrea love you ironphil

Nasty injury, I've always wondered about wipeouts in those Monster waves, I'd imaging tucking into a ball would be a better option than having your limbs flailing around.Do these guys and girls have a wipeouts technique.

This was written By good Maui mate:- Randy Royce

Angels of the glide... When they're working a glide, it's magic to behold... grace and finesse. When they're chasing a bump it's spooky how fast they can propel the board, no bumps go unridden. Wanna go paddling with them? Better put on your big boy board shorts and prepare to be humbled. These Maui chicks know how to put distance between you and your pride. — with Andrea Moller and Devin Blish.
