Mate they are all SUP'ers in disguise Yeh I was thinking the same, maybe we are flat out at work Maybe they are cutting down their longboards and starting a new revolution Maybe like me they lost their internet and foxtel for three bloody days, ha the knob from our local rag said it was not a major fault. Like the whole suburb was out for FS. he went on to say, it was a users fault, go figure why thousands lost connection. To make matters worse,I lost mine at half time as my favourite footy team was killing and eating rabbits. Go Queensland tonight,oh to top it all off, my daughter rings me today. Hey dad I have been invited to the XXXX corporate box for the game tonight. Getting excited, is she asking me to join her ,purse on the phone oh I am taking a friend. Oh well meat pie footy food for diner and rums,so not all bad

I've got some news that's remotely related to surfing, very remotely. Today I was called about a new job, not bad, but it does not start until October/November so because they would prefer me not to get another full time job before it starts, they said they think they have found something for me for 2 days a week in the interim and would I accept that? I said yes. What's that got to do with surf'n? are you kid'n me? I go from 5 days work and 2 days surf'n per week to 2 days work and 5 days surf'n per week if I get the job I'm sure to get the hang of it after that

^ sweet as - I actually took the weekend days off so I didn't have to surf with the crowds, had some ripping surfs in the last week and a half. Amazing how few people are out mid morning

Yeah, I've noticed that mid morning lull on a week day. Perfect, I can get to stay in the fart sack a bit longer in winter and still have an uncrowded surf.

Here is a longboard shot from a couple of weeks ago. Haven't had a performance mal for a year on so and enjoyed the tuflite Pearson Arrow Mohr Model. I'm calling a longboard revival revival.

I would love to have a go on the CJ Nelson model to see if I could nose ride it. At 24.25 inches it would be like a floating footpath. No wonder most people I see carrying them tend to have them on their heads.

Classic santa surf shot. A costume themed surf comp would be a hoot, I would have to go the bogon. Mullet wig, stubbies and a can of Fosters (no littering would occur of course)
