I got nothing...went to Ulu's 3 times and the beachies once in ten days....did lots of drinking and sitting around with family and mates!!
No new board purchases - just trashed one and the other one is on its way back to the manufacturer as we speak - that why I had rent a board over there and also because my 6'6" was not big enough. I am presently two boards down and have no chance to make a new stick at the moment as I am flat out with limited time the next 6 weeks. Looks like I am going to have to buy one sadly.
^^ you must be heartbroken. Having to buy a new board after you got good waves in indo.
Life just isn't fair sometimes Ted.

Actually I am SP - I have a 7'6" single fin in production in the garage at the moment - that board is designed just for fun really - nothing serious on the top side and clearly not a high performer either. I was hoping to make myself a couple of shorties before xmas but now I have a big dilemma (and not the one that Simondo talks about) as do I buy an all-rounder to get me through or buy a board at one end of the range and hope i do not need the one at the other end too much before I can finish making it. Recall SP - it costs me a lot less to make a board than to buy one - when I price the hours I put into it a $zero - because its all leisure and love I do not really want to buy a new board just for a few months either. Will keep an eye out for a second hand one the next few weeks and if no luck will purchase a new one. Plus I am away again next month with work and will need to take a board with me - will be sampling Pups homemade sausages and drinking beer with Mick

Oh I didn't realize or remember right. Thought you'd bought that board....I've got a few boards you can choose from when you go for a surf over here. Just hope its cranking when your here

Wow - that is a very generous off Ricardo - let me think this over and get back to you. I am usually reluctant to borrow things incase something happens to them whilst I am using them. Once more thanks for the kind offer - will investigate some options and revert.

Yeah no probs regarding something happening to it,you can have it ,ill never surf this board again and its been sitting in the racks unridden for about 5 years and I won't surf it as I've got another 7'0.Give it to a local grom that can't afford a board when you're done with it.its prob made in 90s glassed in fins thruster, south Aus design-Osmosis.anyway its there if you get stuck for a board
That larger sequence is about how big is been all week.
Nice shots too dude, you surf pretty damn awesome and more respect after being in it .
I must admit, I really struggled here on the Bukit but what I also found over the last few days is there is a massive amount of posers down here... there are very few guys out here surfing the place well. A LOT just making it out and paddling at a lot of waves with no real intention of catching or taking the drop and just not making the wave. And then everyone's a legend when they get back to the pub
I'm thinking I'm one of the few who would put openly admit the place beat me and instead step down to something I can enjoy. But mann, I do wish they were rights, would prob be a bit different but I'm heading home and going to force myself into more lefts to fine tune
I'm thinking your probably one of the few who can really surf the place, generally those guys do the least talking, let their surfing do the talking
