Short Doggie, well short for me anyway, 6'10 Hellfire. Probably 2 inches longer than I really needed but I don't want to make it too hard on the old body.

I looked at a 6'10 addvance the other day, didn't look to bad. Bit chunky but not as thick as id thought it'd be.

What's the diff between it and the hellfire.

I've had an Addvance. Really liked it for up to head high waves, a good longboarders shortboard if that nakes any sense. Plenty of volume, paddled really well, but could take a drop and turn well in the pocket. In fact should ever have sold it but someone was pestering me for it. The Hellfire is a much more refined board like a short board. Pics will need to be on the weekend.

Been riding a 9'0 for nearly 12 months. Rate it highly.

I'm 195cm & 100kg so it is like a big shortboard for me. Can't nose ride it (will attempt to upload a pic )

Or SurfBurger.

That's what they were called after Bert moved over to the Goldy. Was funny as Nevs nickname is Krusty. We were saying call them Krusty Burger.

I love the Firewire crew, some of the nicest people in the industry.

Krusty Burgers

Nice boards, I would get another but more of a quad small wave board. The construction is as tuff as nails so I would get one over a PU for that reason.

For the record.

Here is the post that got Bert recognised and blew the lid off the whole vacuum formed boards thing.

This post along with the Clark closure changed surfboards more than most other events in surfboard history........

Very good, I have read it before but I recon three or four more reads will help me understand it to the fullest.

The thing that gets me is when you look at Berts boards they are so well finished but the FWs seem to have a lot of pin holes in them (around the tail rail is where Ive seen them the most). Is that from manufacturing alot of boards at once?

That's a good read.

I was in a shop a few months back and they had some wood looking boards, so I googled it when I got home, I assume this is the same Bert Berger, too good of a name for them to be two of them... They looked good.

can't seem to work out the upload thingy..

model # XFF -900-Q-030-3. 76ltr volume.
