Where? As far away from my mother in law as possible. Why? Because my mother in law is not there.

Mullawarra - like you needed to ask and maybe spend the summers back home in Tassie at a little shack somewhere on the east coast.

Yeah, but pick a place, like Kauai, which is also a long way from the in laws ! Kauai or Noosa... warm water surf ! Next winter we'll sacrifice 1 month of winter swell for small waves on the points in Noosa...

I will stay right where I am in Murwillumbah after leaving Sydney Water and Sydney 6 years ago we are in paradise we have got a 100 year old queenslander on 1200 sqm block and over 6 years we have removed all the lawn except the council strip and planted 30 different tropical fruits and bush foods vegies, chooks and ducks a great number of surf and dive spots within half hour and surrounded by world heritage rainforest. The icing on the cake is my new job as a trainee nurse that gives me heaps of time to spend with the family and to surf Boof

Some great replies guy's. My dream I have a few,but need to shorten the list. Dreams follow in no order. Live in Noosa Waters, surf the points, problem lack of waves week to week. Waikiki, summer all year round with perfect longboard waves.problem super crowded. Northern NSW's on a small farm on a hill with ocean views and surf the Pass, problem crowded. Boofy has all the boxes ticket

Kauai isn't bad. Population of only about 300,000, and you can find a wave pretty much every day. Picks up swell from any direction. It flies under the radar from Oahu and Maui. Yeah Mac, I sure have been there! 1 foot tea tree goes off!! Everyone writes it off, thinking it won't work, but with patience you might a small set or two that peel away perfectly!

Same here boofy,5 mins to the closest beach but bypass it every time for those points you are referring to,there is a heaven and the crowds dont bother me at all,I just find a less crowded spot in the lineup,it may not be the best wave on the day but hey its bliss on a clean day and hello its not raining today and it could all be cleaned up by the weekend for some action.

I did Simon,I was going to ask you to post it over here,I think the boy's would have found it interesting. We have some historians who would get a buzz out of that post. How did it go and you mentioned you were a test pilot for the R&D department. Can you indulge how you became involved.

Where did you staywe stayed at The Princevlille Resort, google it mate. It was unbelievable,we snagged the room just like the catalogue, which doesn't happen most holidays, very expensive but after doing the research on travel blogs we paid the extra,we hired a PT cruiser and drove around the Island, had a surf at small Pine Trees from the Irons fame.

I will post it over here tomorrow. The board flies ! Went beautifully at Winki on Saturday. Got out there before sunrise. Self sponsored R&D!! I will pass it around down here a little bit. A few people are interested in it. A shaper here called Doug Rogers was interested in a ride. We'll still send some feedback in due course. More tomorrow on a different thread... !!!

I'm gunna build a granny flat for him down at the bottom of the front yard. Hang on - that puts him closer to the surf than me Gunna build him a granny flat at the back of the yard and charge him 50c to use my track to the beach

Hey BB, my mate did once own a little piece of that paradise. He had the very last house on the other side of that headland overlooking Mullaway. Here's a pic from about 1983. I even helped him clear the land the year before he built it. He lives closer to town now
