I can be there anytime but as you WERE so committed to 666 training I've been trained for 7 startsAnyway there should be some nice fun waves about, then the norm coffee and feed but for Lacey, Tea and carrot cake Then it is collection time for the skateboard

selective memory again.

last time what time-7. get there at 10 to 7 and I see mac and vanders just about in the surf.

I actually waited for 7 and then see these two gone- spew'n

Doing a early morning run down to LM from the sunny coast.
I know the Devil's wind will be in full force but WTF. Hoping to be there around 7:30 - 8ish ( in the water )
If any of you guys see me in the line up don't be shy. I'll be riding this thing. It's a mid ( 7 foot )

Hope to see a few of you out there.

mate vanders and I will be chasing waves...im going to give him a where depending on the winds real early....don't be shy to cut your journey on the huighway early as we have some great banks atm....problem for the whole coast at that time will be the huge tides. we did well up here which was cool....

Great looking board Locky. Is that a Ross Head shape? I used to surf his shapes yonks ago. Had a couple of them in the early thruster days. Great shaper and a hell of a surfer too. And a great bloke as well. Geez, if it's not a Ross Head shape this is one hell of a dumb post. Oh well, not my first ... or last.

Yep mate, it's one of Rossco's.
Fast little quad from some templates that are over 30 years old. ( he borrowed them and forgot to return them ) I was told from who, but better not say who, how or where. But its a funny story.
Your right he is a top bloke for sure. Still shaping and as keen as ever for a good wave.
Only does about 30 - 40 boards a year from home.
Going to talk to him shortly about a new one.

Chrispy,

I am guessing I would be cutting the journey about 30 mins short To a dead end road with a VMR tower
How do you think the wind will affect it
I was thinking LM as I was hoping the wind won't effect it as much. I know the tide won't be good for either but what to do.........Don't know

Only going down as I have be somewhere on the goldy around lunchtime. Leaving early and taking my board as a bonus to get a wave in.

Thanks Locky. Very interesting! That board of yours looks flat and fast - and fun. Might have to look Ross up one of these days. Cheers, Dave

Hope you get a wave with the GC bros tomorrow.
