yep....Manly was pumping this morning and still is from what I hear. Its just been one of those days up here.....massive and not really doing it. I watched two boogie boarders taking on some monsters at one spot and a huge 10ft plus set came through and mowed them down. We all felt for them as this thing exploded in front of them. Scary. They were washed in half drowned. My shots have not come out well so have not bothered posting them. The GF is down the beach at the moment so if she gets some goodies I will post them later. The reefs were a little bit wonky. 3 blokes took one of them on but the big sets looked a bit frightening for me so I stayed out of harms way. The rest of them looked unreal. Ahhhh what a whimp

It's settled down here a fair bit ( south coast ) but still the odd 5 foot set. Yesterday Arvo was solid. Got to get some pics for Chrispy at a certain spot he likes. Looks like another low forming off the far south coast Sun - Mon. That will be 3 east coast lows in 3 weeks.

Look after it Doggie. I drove past Ours a few weeks back delivering a boat to Port Botany. Can't believe how close it breaks to the rocks. F@ck that.

Great fun here today.....4ft with a few bigger ones early doors then it has dropped off as the day has progressed. We have had no wind or a light offshore - sheet glass almost all day. Heaven. Just took the 5'10" out for a spin this arvo - first time its seen the water since Point Plomer. It was fun to have a surf and not have to be worried about any sneaker sets bashing me up. First surf in under head waves for what seems like weeks - and no complaints!

Some nice looking waves there Ted. Looks like all that swell hasn't hurt the banks too much. Looks like there may be some south swell coming.

interesting point you make there smh - the beaches have lost so much sand its scary - but we now have some beautiful deep channels so things are looking good. Weird to surf a beachie again today - its been ages since I had a play in one. So much duck diving !

Your local spot is a hidden gem Ted. Might have to take the coast road on my way up to Nelson Bay this Xmas for the regular family hols.
