Thanks for those SMH. Nice conditions and a fun looking wave. I surfed this on Saturday morning with just me and my neighbour. I only took a couple of shots before paddling out so they are not the best but it gives you some idea. The wind came up sadly around 11am which put an end to it. Was fun but as the tide went out some big steps appeared which made the takeoff's very scary. Good fun though andy try hollow. A nice w/e of waves - not perfect but not too bad either

That looks pretty good Ted. The paddle out would have me thinking about sharks.

The right is a much longer and better wave. The left can be ok in a SE swell but the right always gets my vote. The swell had heaps of north in it so I only took rights on Sat It sucks up shark island style so you have to take off really deep to get into them safely - otherwise you get pitched. Weird concept!!!

Yeah, I try not to think about it too much. One of the old boys saw a big shark on Friday morning at a spot close by. The paddle out is about 15 mins which is just enough to get you thinking though. My neighbour saw a school of baby sharks whilst we were out there so I came in on the next wave that came along. It was a good excuse ha ha ha ha

The wind is supposed to turn Westerly either tomorrow or next day so I'll get some better shots next time.
