Yep loads of places will rent you a decent board in Manly - Dripping Wet at North Steyne is a good bet as is Aloha in Manly - Tim has some good demos as well you might want to try. Enjoy.

You can even stop at the NZ Ice creamery

I love Manly and wanted to book a holiday their with family. I sent of enquires (as no hotel would give me a online quote for accommodation with two kids) well before the Christmas holidays. After the new year when i had not not had a reply, i emailed Hawaii and had emails back the next day. So sadly my kids will now get to experience Hawaiian Culture before NSW

I just love Manly though..Great spot.

Dripping Wet is the surf shop Ted mentioned.
This is your best option to my knowledge.
When you get off ferry, walk down Manly Corso to Manly Beach (10 mins).
Then walk north along Manly Beach for another 10-15 mins.
There's few good cafes next to Dripping Wet after your surf.

Glad you found a board and got some waves. How long are you around for? We have a nice swell on route. There will be some incredible waves around later in the week.

The unibrow was good, same dimensions as my scud but less volume....the nose isn't as wide, I would probably go up to 6'3 or 6'4 on it but it was fast and loose in the waves I got...really enjoyed it, fins were just stock m7 fronts with small mr rears.

hope you do too sea dog if you need a board go to Aloha see Tim...if you wanna guide to get the hang of the place and some inside knowledge call Ryan at Manly Surf Guide

I was stocked to surf quality waves with only 1 other guy, in Perth on that peak there would've bee 300 hungry non surf etiquette following frothing sea monsters with their heat clocks on

Whats the wettie situation up in NSW at the moment? 3/2 steamer or would a 2/2 short arm be enough?
