You could paddle off the beach but it might get a bit lonely. Can't say I've seen anyone surf it before, but it does look tempting sometimes, especially in a howling south or southeasterly wind, cos it's quite protected.

Yeah less than a k offshore, a kayak or a canoe would be the go. Is it surfable Rayne or full of boulders?

Haha little pin dick!! Haha! Like me or average Joe is gonna go nuts trying to find an epic surf spot based on a whim of something said on a public internet forum. What a joke! Bit like the bloke copping reds at the top of this page for having a crack at the right on billabong challenge... Like of course I'm gonna load up my wagon and drive north because some random reckons it looks like the right on billabong challenge. FFS! Haha! Pin dick, love it!!

Maybe you won't but we all know there's thousands of locals and blowins here for the mining coin with plenty of free time and money to burn. Uncrowded midweek surfs are a thing of the past. If I see pics of nice waves I want to know where they are but I would rather go out and discover than risk having places blown out with crowds because they were exposed on the net all the time. Out of sight out of mind.

Hey crusher, what's with the colour of the water and is that someone kneeling or squatting in the second pic?

"Hey crusher, what's with the colour of the water and is that someone kneeling or squatting in the second pic?" The water colour comes from the river water flowing in right in front of the wave. The waves were small long and fun and the water was farken cold. The second pic is a good example of a dick high tube stance.

Or he having a sh1t, hence the colour of the water Sorry about that, it's a reference to another post PS: Looks like fun, and the crowd factor looks about right too.
