Super glassy knee high waves Trigg > Scarb... there's some shape - but no pattern or rhythm to it - I reckon you'd be pushing to get 10 'waves' an hour. Def a day for the mal... Wind changing now @ 10:55am...

Did anyone have a sundowner this arvo, it turned offshore and looked like it would have been OK?

Yes, lumpy enough swell to jack in seudo peaks. A bit of size on occasion too.

Surfed in the wind yesterday was a bit of size but crap shape. Cleaned up in the arvo but not much better shape wise! ( south metro) Will be cranking this am with the offshore but I gotta pay the bills.

Yeah jumped in near home with about 50 or so others.. Managed to kook it on a few waves avoiding speed bumps and then had lidders on my last wave go both ways on me, so gave up Honestly i could kill the little maggots Good size but was a little doubled up.. Looked at a northern spot this morning about 20 minutes up the road and was unreal. Only 7 guys out but still seemed tribal..Saw one decent drop in and that guy ended up getting a board flicked at him only to miss by what could have only been inches If it wasn't for work i would have hit it for sure..

Just got back from a cracker of a surf. I was heading out to one of my B waves for some uncrowded fun and checked out a known spot that had no one out. I couldn't believe it so I hoped in and had 2 1/2 hours of bliss to myself. I've nearly had enough of doing the boat on my own but days like this make the effort all worth it. I made a friend too!

Those "friends" sometimes use their "new friends" as a decoy when their "non-friends" in grey suits are playin tag!!!!!!!!!

he's back at work GPA, nice scar from the brow to the scalp but the area they stapled has healed magnificently. Pretty clever stuff from the crew at RPH with the guys at Peel doing the initial stuff so well he's all good, won't be surfing for some time though.

Ha Ha Ha, no dolphins. I'm sure they were just having fun showing me up though. They did some nice airs!

Average session. Grey skies with dropping swell but still occasional big sets coming through. Was getting close-out'y. Remind me to stay away from the darkside of longboarding. With the log in repair and jumping back on the shorty, I could not paddle for s*** nor position myself waiting for waves!

Just get out of bed GPA ;) Trigg was fun again this morning. Not as clean as yesterday with a bit of backwash happening but still some nice little coverups to be had.

^^^ Yeah - I have done, but it just doesn't work for me - as much as I want it too... apart from the mad rush to work, I just can't settle in to a rythm knowing I have a tight time limit. Hats off to those who can... your weekly wave count is well up on mine

Great surf this morning at a well known spot but new to me. Great fun with one other bloke. Eventually a SUp even joined and and i told him he had to call sets as he had better view and he did. Great because it gave me heaps of time to position. Very soothing but my arms are killing right about now. Actually cramping just typing

What? No reports on a classic Autumn day with a bit of swell kicking around... Not bad if you picked them - a lot of the bigger ones shutting down - still, a few blokes managing to tuck inside them for a few seconds... I was happy to sit off the side and wait for the 3/4 size or the wide ones... still offshore and plenty of crew pulling up in the car park and going out at 2:45pm... Swell a becoming a little inconsistent and starting to drop.

Pretty nice waves coming through, but it's just a pity about the mentality of the crowds; many weren't in a position to make the wave, but called others off. Good banks didn't help - the takeoff was pretty clear, so crowds were like flies to turd. A bit of humour though, one young-un was in the water. Yellow board, fluoro wetty, producing some quotes like: "You should be jealous of me" "I've been out longer than you" and other stuff along the lines of wanting to get priority in the line up, etc. - all at the top of his lungs. There were some amused faces in the water because of him.

Ooops posted these in the wrong thread before. Yep, there was some nice waves around today, and this is the spot we bailed on and went elsewhere. This is maybe a little bit over head but the bigger ones were breaking out the back and just belting us. Spent a lot of time paddling and duckdiving.
