Thanks

I have only been on boats but my mate worked at Botik resort which is right in the middle of playgrounds and he reckons its all time...the camp at Lances also looked the goods from the boat

Macaronis is like a luxury resort and is the goods.
The boats hate it but the staff are great and there is a good selection of waves when Macaronis is busy.

Pitstops, Macaronis, or Kingfisher.

Pitstops is up North in the playground area. Its close to heaps of good waves and has a fun righthander right out front. Unfortunately Playgrounds is always full of boats and full of Brazzo's and generally speaking, they don't play nice.

Macca's is probably the most luxurious (and expensive) camp out there, but its close to a world class left in Maccas, plus you've got the likes of Greenbush, Thunders, and Rags left and Right an hour or so away by speedboat.

Kingfisher is right in front of Lances Left, you can walk thru the jungle to get to HTS (arguably the best right in the Ments) plus you have access to a bunch of beachies and some secret slabs further south.

All three camps are quite nice, and would be suitable to take a lady friend. I would definitely recommend a camp with a wave out front, otherwise you're at the mercy of the rest of the group or the speedboat driver.

Pitstop fully sick, good wave out front......good luck getting in max ten surfers at camp, If you taking missy maybe have a look at macaronis but for a wave hunting full military surf trip Pitstops is the one

I asked these guys for a price for 10 days next May as it was recommended and it was totally off the dial around $7K for me and the misses I think if you dont mind what did you pay for your trip Razz

yeah it was 3500 give or take two hundred + flights which were about 1100. they got a photog out there john barton. he takes snaps and you buy them at the end. it is
a bit pricey for indo but they put you onto waves and look after you. owned ran by aussies. ill go back for sure.. if you trying to do it cheap have a look at secret sumatra, ive heard good stuff but the waves are a bit more fickle and outragous heavy

Thanks Razz I only hear rave reviews for Pitstops which compares to a lot of boat trip prices for the area
