Anyone been to Taiwan? Is it worth it?

Have not been but have heard in the right season it is bloody epic and well priced.

Used to work with a Taiwanese bloke who told me all about it.

Hainan is also supposed to be well worth the visit as well.....one day...

Well worth the trip. Been now 4 times I'm actually in Taiwan now!!
The East is the best waves. Photos below is Donghe and Cheng Gong. This was from a Typhoon in the Phillipines.There is heaps of accomodation and food Locals are very welcoming. The best time is their Winter and water temp is actually warm. Typhoon season is ok but you have to be lucky as swell direction plays a big part. I have driven down the East from Taipei. The roads are scary as you drive around edge of mountains and you have buses and trucks coming at you on your side!!
You can get the train but you still need to get to the coast.
The scenery is spectacular. I love coming here!! Enjoy.
