Any tips on some good (entertaining) windsurf movies?

Just ordered the Windsurfing Movie 1 and 2. Wondering what else to add to the list? Wizards of Oz? Redbull Storm Chase?

One of the things I had in mind was JP's one handed very tweaked aerial at 1:09
Wait till you see that on the big screen - I reckon the best aerial I have ever seen - mega tweaked, and one handed.

I really like "life", made by same (swedish) dude who also did four dimensions and commited 1 and 2.

Life can be downloaded (legally!) from here. http://www.clubventos.com/html/pages/life/life-download.php

For something old school you cant go past "Tradewinds". Best soundtrack ever and a great insight into how we and why we have so much fun!!!

best windsurfing old school film site is : stableroad or something like that, its got all the old Gaastra and pryde films on it.....

Put stableroad in google it should find it.

Check out the fiji part 1 of the windsurfing films, Pete Cabrinha has a double head boom so he has one side higher than the other.

+1 for Four Dimensions, FWD Hawaii and Committed.

I'm selling my Minds Wide Open DVD. It's in mint condition. If anyone is interested send me a DM. $35 inc shipping to anywhere in OZ.

i thought spam 2 had some great action. but admit the quality of the footage does look poverty ($100 handycam + macbook) but worth the watch

there's something about the dr.beats 4 dvd combo too, looks cheap but it's got some entertaining stuff in it, like the ricardo and friends section. it appears dr.beats was responsible for some of the more well known footage from early 2000's that gets recycled in other dvd's from time to time (plug n play etc)

+1 for plug'n'play 1 and pleeeeze bring back super-X

Cant believe no one has mentioned the JP movies, $40 and you get all his movies on one DVD and extra footage, awesome movies and no rap or hip hop music in them.

RIP by Robby Naish is Still a sick movie.

Ocean Flow has some really solid wave riding from Scotty Mac.

Also tradewinds, one of the first windsurf movies and a dude un bolts a door from his shed and goes windsurfing on it, even leaves the handle on, wicked.

Add these to the rest everyone else mentioned and you will have the best movie collection.

I liked 'The Quest'.

A failed PWA event at Esperance that Scotty McKercher turned into a road movie for the PWA guys. Good Australian sound track.

windsurf vids always have so much 'non sailing footage', bores me to death. want to watch sailing not see some wanker standing on a street in a third would country, or a sunrise over some other stupid place. show me sailing. please. just sailing.

A few great old school vids my favorite being Spread the word. Watched that one heaps.

Spread the Word - Nik Baker sailing Rushwind - "it's snapper material"

original Neil Pryde videos - Rigmarole, Instant Replay etc.
Or Heart and Soul - classic Gaastra video

Borrowed a gopro for the first time ever and decided I would have to use "holy grail" by Hunters and Collectors as soundtrack cause that song always reminds me of windsurfing.

Just scored Windrider on DVD from Big W for $5, can't believe it made the transition to DVD, even has extended bedroom scene and extra promo clips. Stoked.
